Designed to replicate what we do at the start of every week in school, our virtual assembly features a special guest interview every week with a key message for our students, staff and parents.
This week’s special guest star is scientist and illusionist Dr Matt Pritchard talking to us about reclaiming our sense of wonder. We have our first student Screen Test short film and Steve Judge is back, announcing the winners of his vision board competition from Episode 2.
After School Clubs & Competitions
To bring a distraction to the pupils’ week we run a selection of after school activities and competitions. These provide a different focus and experience whilst at home, as well as some fun.
Mental Health & Wellbeing
Rest assured, Fyling Hall is here to support you and our students as much as possible during this difficult time. Your mental health and wellbeing are our priority. Remember, you can contact Mrs English at any time for support. We also continue to share resources which you and your families may find useful.
Our friends at Compass Buzz are delighted to announce that a new website for children, young people, parents/carers and professionals has been launched! The Go-To is a portal or ‘single point of information’ for the wide range of mental health support services offered by different agencies in North Yorkshire. This new website will signpost young people to the most appropriate support and has lots of useful tips and information to help young people cope with stress or anxiety.
Have you tried a Triathlon with a Difference? You’ll love Mr Coates’ latest #PEwithaDifference challenge!
Take a look at this week’s activities for keeping fit . As in previous weeks there is an activity for each day as well as advice on how to warm up and cool down properly.
