Performances

photo-4-960x1280-879x1099[1]At Fyling Hall, performance is a vital part of the Drama curriculum and all pupils are encouraged to take part in regular evening show backs and larger performance events. The whole of Key Stage Three took part in local arts competition, the Eskdale Festival, where the school has won in the Group Drama and Shakespeare Solo classes for last two years. For the second year our outstanding pupils were also asked to appear at the “Best of the Festival” concert, where their work was showcased for an audience of 1000.

IMAG1110School shows are popular events, the Junior School recently performed their own all singing, all dancing version of Macbeth and after the success of ‘Grease’ last year pupils are now working on ‘Annie’ to be performed in February.

‘I never wanted Grease to end! I loved the performances and being on the stage sharing it with an audience after all our hard work in Drama Club was the best’ (Current Year 10 Pupil)
