We arrange
regular trips and outings – both educational
and purely fun – and pupils are encouraged
to pursue independently a wide variety of leisure
activities both within the school and in the local
area.

Climbing Wall
The climbing wall in the Sports Hall
instantly became one of our most popular after-school
activities from the day it opened, early in 2006. Upwards
of forty pupils are signed-up regular climbers, and several
are already competing at national level. There are plans
to expand their range with a camping trip to the famous
climbing facilities at Fontainebleau in France.
We have recently reintroduced
the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, and
many of our pupils join the local Cubs, Scouts,
Brownies and Guides packs who
meet in the village on weekday evenings. Summer camp is
always popular.
