Drama
and music greatly enrich school life. We stage regular
productions in our indoor theatre, The Barn, as well
as occasional open-air ventures (Yorkshire weather permitting)
in the pretty amphitheatre in our Rose Garden.
Our singers and instrumentalists perform both within
the school and at local concerts and compete with great
success at the Eskdale Festival.
We have a
choir, along with a variety of smaller vocal and instrumental
ensembles. Individual tuition on most instruments is available
from specialist peripatetic teachers while music and drama
is taught by our own teacher Mrs Wormald.
