We aim to provide a first class education which makes learning both rewarding and fun.
The world is changing fast. It has been estimated that 95% of five year olds embarking on their education today will end up in careers not yet invented. To give our pupils the best possible grounding for whatever the future may hold, we offer a broad, balanced and challenging curriculum.

Our approach to education is unashamedly traditional. And, even though we do not select on academic ability, our examination results are consistently pleasing.

We rely heavily on the internet for both communication and teaching/research and each pupil has a school email address and can access the internet anytime subject to our school's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).

Recent inspections have noted our pupils’ achievements are high relative to their levels of attainment on joining the school. We adhere to the principles and practice of the National Curriculum for all age groups, with appropriate variations and support where necessary, for example pupils for whom English is an additional language.
